Attention Hunters: A Hunter Education Course is required by law for all hunters born after December 1961: enter in your certifi-
cate number and the state you passed the course in. If the state you took the course does not assign a number, enter the year you passed the course and the state
where the course was taken.
Six Months Residency in State Required. (Note: This license is only issued through the Bismarck office.)

• You must submit documentation from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs showing service-connected disability, or extra-
schedular rating to include individual unemployability that brings your total disability ratio to either 50% or 100%, and dated within
the last calendar year.
• If your documentation states you have a permanent disability, you only need to submit the VA documentation once. However, the
application and fee must be submitted every year.
• If your documentation does not state that your disability is permanent, you must submit new VA documentation every year, along
with your application and fee.
