New York motor carriers that provide bus transportation services must complete a series of forms to comply with existing regulations designed to monitor the performance of all operators and maintenance staff. Every year the carrier's representative has to prepare an affidavit that confirms all of their employees entrusted with driving, management, and maintenance of vehicles have received guidance about the current procedures listed in Article 19-A of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
