The Private Pesticide Applicator exam and the Commercial Pesticide Applicator General Standards exam are both administered at no
charge. The Salesperson exam and each Commercial Pesticide Applicator numbered category/subcategory exam are $25.00 if taken in
Baton Rouge or $50.00 if taken in a District Office. Exams will not be sent to a District Office unless required application fee is enclosed with
this application. If exams are not taken in a District Office within fourteen (14) calendar days after receipt and notification, the application fee
will be forfeited and the exams will be returned to Baton Rouge.

Applicants applying to take any Category 7c exam must have attained at least two years of experience in that phase of work, and must
include a notarized affidavit of the work experience.

Applicants applying to take the Subcategory 8d exam must have earned a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 12 hours in Entomology and
must include official college transcripts, or must have attained at least four years of experience working in an established mosquito
control program and must include a notarized affidavit of the work experience.

Applicants may take Demonstration and Research exams in Categories 1 through 8. Applicants must also check an additional exam,
for example, 1 and 10. These count as two exams.
**** Applicants applying for the Category 11 exam must also check an additional exam; for example, 11 and 1. These count as two exams.
In addition, applicants must also view a drift minimization video upon successful completion of the exams.
