Guide services must attach to this application a letter of agreement between themselves and the owner or
manager of a rated accommodation provider who has agreed to host their non-resident bear hunting
clients. The rating system used by the accommodation provider must be one recognized by the
Department of Energy and Resource Development and is currently the Canada Select or CAA/AAA
Program.
This letter should:
• be written by the accommodation business,
• include the business name of the accommodation provider and guide service,
• state that the accommodation provider will host non-resident black bear hunting clients of the guide
service for the current year, and
• be signed by the owner or manager of the accommodation business.

STEP 5 - Indicate if you want your licence allocation information available on the ERD
web site
Check either the YES or NO box below to indicate if you consent to be included in Non-resident bear
licence allocation holder list on the Energy and Resource Development (ERD) web site.
Licensing information provided on the ERD web site will include the business name under which you hold
a bear licence allocation, your business phone number, the municipality where your business is located
and the zone(s) where you hold an allocation. Licence amounts will not be included. Requests for
licensing information received by ERD are subject to provisions of the Right to Information and Protection
of Personal Information Act.
