A Coconut Creek Building Permit is an official document, issued by the Broward County Building Department in the state of Florida. It is required to be filed before implementing any construction work within Broward County, starting April 1, 2016.
The purpose of this document is to obtain a permit for building work that meets the standards of laws regulating all types of construction work. For any special services regarding electrical or plumbing work, furnaces, boilers, water tanks, heaters, air conditioners, well installation or pools etc., separate permits are required. Failure to obtain a permit before implementing construction work may result in paying high fines for unauthorized improvements on the property. Permits are valid for 180 days from the issuance date.
