Appendix 2 (Financial Requirement Form) Instructions

Follow these steps to complete the Financial Requirement Form:

1. Indicate on what basis you are coming to the United Kingdom- you can be a spouse, partner, or child of the individual settled in the United Kingdom, a refugee, or the humanitarian protection beneficiary.
2. Describe your relationship with the sponsor - under which circumstance you have met, how you have been keeping contact, what languages do you speak with each other.
3. Outline your accommodation plans whether you want to live with your sponsor or somewhere else.
4. Calculate the financial requirement applicable to your situation. The income will depend on the number of children applying with you. You need to state whether you plan to obtain income in the form of salary, self-employment profits, pension, and allowed benefits, savings, or other financial sources.
5. Provide the details of your sponsor's current and former employment or self-employment and actual income before tax. If there are any non-employment sources of income, savings, benefits, or pension payments, list them as well.
6. Describe your future maintenance if the sponsor receives benefits due to their disability.
7. Use the continuation sheet to share any additional facts that may influence the outcome of the application if you do not have enough space elsewhere on the document.
