A Delaware Grant Deed is a document that can be used to transfer the possession of lands, tenements, and hereditaments (25-101). The Delaware Code contains a description of the deed form which can be used for the conveyance of real estate (25-121). As in other states, the grant deed must be duly acknowledged in the Superior Court, or before any judge of Delaware, or before a notary public, or before any other authorized representative stated in section 122 of the Delaware Code. It can also be proved in Court by one or more of the subscribing witnesses (25-122).
