Gift Deed Form - Pennsylvania

Gift Deed Form - Pennsylvania

A Pennsylvania Gift Deed is required when the owner of a property or parcel of real estate wishes to donate or gift the property to another person or party without expecting payment from the grantee for the transfer. It is important that all language and agreements in the deed are clear, as any confusing language could later be contested in court. If the document contains new legal information related to the property, you will need to contact the local Register of Deed's office before submitting the deed to update the information. When submitting the gift deed documentation, you will need to include a Statement of Value (91 Pa.C.S. 112), Certificate of Residence (21 Pa.C.S. 625), and possibly additional documentation if the property is located near a mine (52 Ps.C.S. 1551 and 52 Pa.C.S. 1406.14). The completed deed can be submitted to the local Recorder of Deed's office.
