How to Make an Origami Heart?

Follow these Origami Heart instructions and create your own piece of art:

Prepare the only item you need - either get a square sheet of paper or cut a perfect square out of the paper you have at your disposal. Remember that an easy Paper Origami Heart does not require the use of scissors and glue which makes it a perfect activity even for the youngest kids in your family.
Fold the sheet of paper diagonally with a slight crease and then unfold it. Take one of the corners opposite the crease and fold it towards it; the other corner should be folded as well - the highest point has to coincide with the edge of the template. Fold the item in half and unfold it - after that, the left and right sides of the template must be folded along the crease you have created. Turn the template around and fold "sharp" points on top of it to make two curves - this is going to be the top of the heart. Turn the template around again and admire your work!
Make sure it is easy to unfold the heart and put it back in the original position especially if you are planning to use it as a greeting card - the recipient of the message should be able to easily open up the item and then fold it. Practice and ask other people around you to try opening up the heart to see if you followed the guidelines correctly.
