Aircraft Purchase
Check to see if your surety or cash bond is in good standing.
Verify that the prospective seller can provide the latest decal and registration. If not provided, contact
the Aircraft Registration Unit at 602-712-6995 for the status of the registration.
If you make the purchase, complete a registration application and exemption affidavit and send to the
Aircraft Registration Unit within 10 days.
Aircraft Consignment
Send a copy of the consignment agreement between the dealer and owner and an exemption
affidavit to the Aircraft Registration Unit within 10 days.
Aircraft Sale
Complete a registration application, have the new owner sign and mail to the Aircraft Registration
Unit within 10 days. If the aircraft is leaving the state, the Aircraft Registration Unit must be notified
of the sale in order to remove from inventory.
