To convey your lands, tenements, and hereditaments to another person (or an entity) you can use a Rhode Island Quitclaim Deed . In this state, a quitclaim deed shall be executed in writing and signed by the grantor (§ 34-11-1), acknowledged before a state senator, judge, or similar (§ 34-12-2), delivered to the grantee (§ 34-11-1), and recorded in the records of land evidence in the town or city where the real property is located (§ 34-11-1; § 34-13-1).
