Illinois Vehicle Bills of Sale are forms you use in Illinois for transferring ownership of auto- and motor vehicles from the seller to the buyer.
There is only one state-issued bill of sale in Illinois used for junk vehicles. Residents are encouraged to fill out a basic Vehicle Bill of Sale when selling cars, along with Form VSD 703.1, Seller’s Report of Sale and Form RUT-49, Vehicle Transaction Affidavit, which you are welcome to download below.
