Special Warranty Deed Form - Michigan

A Michigan Special Warranty Deed is a legal document that individuals can use when they want to shift the title of ownership of real property. This type of deed implies covenants that the grantor actually owns the property and that there are no outstanding claims arising from that ownership. According to the Michigan Compiled Laws, a special warranty deed must be acknowledged (565.47) before a judge, or a clerk of a court of record, or notary public (565.8) and properly recorded.
