Limited Power of Attorney Template - Alabama

An Alabama Limited Power of Attorney Form allows an individual to legally designate a third party (often referred to as an agent) to carry out some specific functions on their behalf. The specific functions are agreed upon and legally confirmed on the first page of the document.

In Alabama, apart from both parties signing and dating the document, a notary public must also be present to sign the document with a seal. The notary will have a separate field to fill in on the form where they must state the date, place of signing, and details about the parties signing the document. Only after this, would the document come into effect and be deemed as legally binding.
