Writing a Child Support Letter of Agreement is a straightforward process. The parent (or legal guardian) who is sending the document is referred to as the Sender, while the parent (or legal guardian) who is receiving the document is referred to as the Addressee. Normally, it should include the following parts:

  1. The Sender. In the first part of the document, the sender is required to provide their full name, and postal address.
  2. The Addressee. Here, the sender is supposed to designate the full name and the postal address of the addressee.
  3. Date. The date when the sender has completed the Child Support Agreement Letter and sent it to the addressee must be included in the document.
  4. Subject. The sender can state the subject of the letter by including this line in the letter. The topic of the document can be indicated as "Child Support Terms" or "Child Support Agreement Conditions."
  5. Introduction. This section of the letter can be used by the sender to express their desire to follow the conditions they have described further and provide child support for their child (children). The sender also can designate the name of the child (children) they plan to provide child support for and their date of birth.
  6. Child Support Agreement Conditions. Senders can use this part of the document to state the terms of the child support agreement they are offering. It can contain information about child support payments and how often they will be transferred, visits schedule, college tuition payments, etc.
  7. Signature. The letter must be signed by the sender. It should also include the space where the addressee can sign the letter if they agree on the child support conditions presented there.
