Quitclaim Deed Form - Ohio

If an individual would like to shift a title of ownership of their real property without offering a warranty of title, they can use an Ohio Quitclaim Deed . The Ohio Revised Code provides the state's resident with a statutory form for such kind of deed which can be found in section 5302.11. In compliance with this section, a deed shall include the name of the grantor, their marital status, the name of the grantee, the amount of the consideration paid, a description of the real property that is being conveyed, and other details. When preparing your deed, make certain that it contains the designation of the source from which the grantor has obtained their title of ownership (§ 5301.011), and complies with other requirements for deeds set in the State of Ohio (§ 5301.01; § 5301.25).
