Any time you send a mail through the USPS, you need to complete a USPS Postage Statement. There are different types of statements, each depending on the mail class and the postage payment method.

Complete the PS Form 3600-FCM to send the First-Class Mail. This document consists of eight pages. Six of them need to be completed before mailing. The last two pages contain the filing instructions meant to facilitate the process. Read these instructions carefully before completing the form: different types of postage and different mailers require filing different sections on the form. The instructions also contain useful information about the discount total column with clear explanations and examples of the equation.

The form must be certified with your signature for it to be accepted by the USPS. Print your name and provide your telephone number in the appropriate box.
