Real Estate Power of Attorney Template - South Carolina

A South Carolina Real Estate Power of Attorney Form is a formal authorization one party drafts to give the other party permission to act as their representative in all affairs related to real property.

Depending on the wishes of the person who signed the form, the agent can sell, buy, or lease real estate complying with the wishes the principal has shared with them or making their own choices. To create an effective authorization, you need to enter the names and contact details of the parties, include the address and description of the residential or commercial property to be sold or leased out, list the instructions for the agent, explain the future communication of the parties, and indicate how this arrangement can be terminated.

Note that the laws of the state demand two witnesses and a notary public to acknowledge the free will of the principal - if this requirement is not adhered to, the authorization will be deemed invalid.
