How to Create an Influencer Contract?

If you want to create a contract with an influencer, but you have never done it before and do not know what you include in it, you can use an Influencer Contract checklist that will help you not to miss anything important:

  1. Preamble. Contracts usually start with a preamble (an introduction) where the individual who is preparing the document states when and where it was signed, and who the involved parties are. In this case, the individual should state the name and the address of the influencer and the name and the address of the advertiser.
  2. The Subject of the Contract. After that, the parties should state the subject of the contract and it should include a thorough description of the advertising campaign, the period of time during which it will be held, and how much it will cost. When it comes to describing an advertising campaign, do not forget to designate the social media platform where it will be held, the type of content, the number of publications (if applicable), and other details.
  3. Payment Clauses. In this part of the document, you can state everything connected with the payment: whether it is one payment or several payments, how the payment will be made (check, cash, transfer), when the transfer/transfers must be made, and more.
  4. Terms and Conditions. Here, you can include all other terms and conditions that are relevant to the subject of your contract. You can add details about representatives, information disclosure, severability, governing law, etc.
  5. Signatures. To indicate that they agree to follow the provisions of the contract, the parties must sign the document. It also helps the verify the parties and their intention to enter the agreement under their own free will.
  6. Attachments. If the parties have developed any graphic materials on how the promoting content should look, they can attach them to the contract. Attachments can include designs, schemes, plans, and other materials that can make the contract more specific.
