"One-Page Business Plan Template"

A One-Page Business Plan is a proposal that individuals can use when they would like to start a business and involve more people or investment in it. The purpose of the document is to gather all of the necessary information about a business, systematize it, and present it in the form of a summary.

This type of short business proposal is a simplified version of a standard business plan and can be more convenient for those individuals who would like to open a small business rather than a big company. If you want your project plan to be beneficial then it should include the sections described below:

  1. Identifying Information. You can start your One-Page Business Plan by introducing your future operation. Here, you can state the potential name of the company, its vision, mission, and other defining details. It will help individuals who will read your plan understand what your future enterprise presents, what problems it solves, how it will solve them, etc.
  2. Goals and Strategies. One of the most important aspects of your proposition is what kind of goals your company will try to reach and what exactly shall be done to reach them. Answers to these questions will be different for each operation, however, here you should be specific and indicate measurable goals and exact strategies.
  3. Market Analysis. This section of your commercial scheme can contain information about your target customers, clients, or audience, your main competitors and their advantages, the demand on the product you are going to make (or services you are going to provide).
  4. The Timeline. To describe how your enterprise will be developing over time you can use a timeline with indicated milestones on it. The milestones can represent the goals that you plan to achieve in a specific period of time. Generally, the milestones on a timeline represent profit, nevertheless, you can tie your goals to other figures as well.
