Property Management Agreement Template - Michigan

A Michigan Property Management Agreement is formed when an owner of a property and a party that will be responsible for managing the property on behalf of the owner, want to document all of the terms and conditions in written form to avoid any potential future disputes and clearly set out responsibilities. The manager must make sure that the property is maintained at a high standard, ensuring any necessary work is carried out on the house. They will also work with tenants and be responsible for managing finances and documents. For their work, managers will receive payments as agreed upon and stipulated in the agreement.

However, not anyone can work as a property manager. The individual needs to either acquire a real estate license or be officially employed by the owner. Only these people (and the owner) have the right to manage the property in question.
