An Oklahoma Property Management Agreement is needed when a real estate owner plans on assigning a manager to maintain their property and take care of all questions regarding rent as well as finances. Looking after a property and communicating with tenants can be challenging and can take up a lot of time, which is particularly difficult to balance if the owner has a main job and family. For this reason, property managers are hired. They are expected to oversee maintenance and be ready to answer questions and queries that tenants may have. Managers are also required to find appropriate tenants and sign the necessary documents.

In return for maintaining the property, owners compensate the management with a consistent monthly salary or by paying a percentage of the rent monthly.
