Sublease Agreement Template - Delaware

A Delaware Sublease Agreement is a written document that establishes the conditions of the property re-renting. If you cannot or do not want to meet the obligations established by your lease, it is allowed to find a person or organization who will live at the premises you currently occupy or use it for commercial purposes and sign a supplementary agreement with them to make sure the landlord keeps regularly receiving payments they are owed.

To create a legally binding sublease, you need to indicate the address of the house, apartment, office, or store in question, name the tenant and the subtenant, state when the sublease is meant to start and end, refer to the contract signed by the landlord and the tenant, and enter the amount of rent the tenant will receive from the third party that will use the rental unit from now on. Note the sublease will be considered invalid unless it is approved by the landlord either by the lease or their signature on the sublease.
