Bargain and Sale Deed Form - Missouri

If you want to sell or purchase a commercial or residential property and the seller is unable to provide any warranties to the buyer, consider preparing a Missouri Bargain and Sale Deed . This document must include the identification of the parties, a description of the real estate in question and its price, and the grantor's confirmation of possible liens or encumbrances that may become known later. Note that Chapter 442 of the Missouri Statutes obliges the parties to draft a written agreement, acknowledge the intention to transfer real estate before a public officer, and register a copy of the document with the local county recorder.
