The Arizona Firearm Bill of Sale is a form used to record the transfer of any type of a gun from the seller to the buyer. If you wish to sell a handgun or purchase a firearm in Arizona, you will need this form to be legally protected. A properly created and signed form is a legally binding agreement and can serve as a receipt for the buyer.
Firearm Bills of Sale do not have to be notarized in the state of Arizona. The sale is considered legal if both the seller and buyer follow the requirements of the Gun Control Act of 1968, Public Law 90-618 and the Code of Federal Regulations.
